This design was set to remind everyone that we come from somewhere. There is a history to your story, to your journey, and the manner in which that is retained and remembered matters. There are multitudes of inspiring stories in jiu jitsu if you just take the time to look. No one is born with the talent or skill, merely the aptitude for acquiring it. The GTR lineage motif is set to illuminate this, that even from humble beginnings, you can finally grow into your own and stand out in the crowd by building off what you have learned from those who have come before, those that are currently assisting you, and those that will come in your future, and always knowing that if we keep up the standard those that come after us will be even better and more skilled than we are.
